Most ad accounts do not fail on targeting. They fail because the creative does not stop the scroll, or the design says nothing in the two seconds it gets. Design made in isolation from the campaign has no idea which of those it needs to do.
Short answer
Creative services cover graphic design, brand identity, print, presentations, video editing and motion graphics. What makes it different here is that the same person is usually running the campaign the creative goes into — so a reel is cut for the first second, an ad image is designed for a feed, and neither is a decorated version of a print layout.
Four details. A real reply the same day, from me.
01 The short version
A logo that looks beautiful at A3 and turns to mud as a 32-pixel favicon has failed, however good the concept was. A video edited for a landscape screen that gets cropped to a vertical feed has failed too. The recurring problem in commercial creative is not talent — it is that the person making it was never told exactly where it would run.
Because I am usually the one placing it, that gap does not exist. A reel is cut knowing the first second decides everything and most people watch it muted. A Google Display set is sized to the placements that actually deliver. A brochure is designed knowing it will be handed over at the end of a meeting, so the one thing it must do is survive being read a week later.
And where AI genuinely helps, I use it — variants, background work, first drafts, volume. Where it does not, I do not. A generated logo cannot be trademarked with confidence, and a generated testimonial is a lie. That line does not move.

Read more05 How it runs
Where does this run, at what size, and what is it competing against in that feed or on that page? Everything downstream is decided here.
One idea per piece. The most common fix I make is removing three of the four things a draft is trying to say at once.
Design or edit, built in the real dimensions from the start rather than resized at the end, which is where quality quietly dies.
Seen at actual size on an actual phone before approval. A lot of design that works on a 27-inch monitor does not survive that test.
Exports in every size you need, plus the editable source files. They are yours; you should never have to come back to me to change a phone number.
— Questions
The ones I get asked before every project, answered the way I would answer them on a call.
Yes, always, as part of the price. Designers who withhold source files are creating a dependency, not protecting quality. You should be able to change a phone number on a flyer without hiring anyone.
As many as the agreed scope needs. What is not included is a change of direction after approval — if the brief becomes a different brief, that is a new piece of work, and I will say so at the time rather than quietly absorb it and rush the rest.
Editing, motion graphics and post. For footage I work with what you have, with stock, or with a videographer you or I bring in. I will tell you plainly when a project genuinely needs a shoot rather than a clever edit.
For some things, genuinely yes — variants of an ad image, background removal, rough cuts, first drafts. For others it is a false economy, and for a few it is a risk: AI-generated logos are hard to protect, and AI-generated people in a testimonial are a lie. I use it where it helps and tell you where I have.
Yes. If you have brand guidelines I work inside them. If you do not, I will note the rules your existing material already implies — most businesses have a de facto identity even when nothing is documented.
Of course. Plenty of clients use me for creative alone. The advantage of the campaign context is available if you want it, not a condition of the work.
