Work you completed

Social Media · Delhi NCR & remote
Almost anyone can post consistently for six weeks. Social media management is the business of still being consistent, and still being relevant, long after the initial enthusiasm has gone.
Short answer
Social media management is the ongoing operation of your accounts: planning content, producing it, scheduling, replying to messages and comments, and reporting. The decisions that determine whether it works are frequency you can sustain, content drawn from your actual business, and someone answering messages quickly.
Four details. A real reply the same day, from me.
01 The premise
The pattern is always the same. A business decides to take social media seriously, commits to daily posting, produces three weeks of good content, and then hits a week where nobody has time. The gap becomes two weeks. The account is abandoned by month four, and the visible record of that abandonment now sits permanently on the profile that prospects check.
The cause is almost never laziness. It is that the plan required more content than the business could actually produce, because it was built around an aspiration rather than around what genuinely happens in the business each week. Twelve posts a month with nothing to say produces filler; six with something real to show does not.
So the first thing I do is work out how much genuine material exists — jobs completed, questions answered, things delivered, people who work there — and set the frequency from that. A slower schedule that survives year two beats an ambitious one that dies in month four, and it is worth arguing about at the start.
02 Content sources
None of this requires a studio, a scriptwriter or a content team.

Every question a customer asks you is content, because other customers are wondering the same thing and searching for it.
Faces build more trust than logos, particularly for local and home-service businesses where a stranger enters your customer’s home.
Certifications, memberships, years in business, a completed milestone. Stated once, occasionally, without embarrassment.
Products and services shown plainly. Businesses are strangely reluctant to do this, as though selling were rude.
A rule change, a price movement, a seasonal issue. Positions you as someone who knows the field rather than someone advertising in it.
03 Included
So there is no argument in month three about what was promised.

These sit next to social media management and are usually bought with it. Same person doing the work in each case.

Straight answers, including the ones that cost me work. If yours is not here, ask it — I reply the same day.
It scales with the number of platforms and the volume of content, and it is monthly because the work is continuous. What changes the price most is whether you can supply photographs of real work — if everything has to be created from nothing, it costs considerably more and works considerably less well.
At a frequency you can sustain indefinitely, which for most small businesses is two or three times a week. An account posting twice a week for two years outperforms one that posted daily for two months and then stopped, because the second one now advertises that you gave up.
Yes, and it is the single biggest factor in whether this works. Photographs of your actual work, taken on a phone, outperform stock imagery consistently. If nobody in the business will take them, I will tell you honestly that the account will drift towards generic content.
Yes, within an agreed window, and it is often the most valuable part of the service. Enquiries arriving by direct message are frequently ignored for days by businesses, and a fast reply converts a meaningful share of them.
Credibility improves within weeks — the profile stops looking abandoned, which immediately helps every ad and every referral. Enquiries directly attributable to organic social take longer and stay modest for most businesses. If you need enquiries this quarter, spend on ads and use social as support.
Monthly, with no notice period and no exit fee. You keep the content produced and the accounts, which are yours throughout and never held in my name.
