SEO · Delhi NCR & remote

At this size, SEO is an organisational problem.

On a five-page site you fix a page. On a five-thousand-page site you fix a template, and then you fix the process that allowed the template to be wrong.

Short answer

Enterprise SEO deals with sites large enough that individual pages stop being the unit of work. The problems are templates applied thousands of times, crawl budget spent on the wrong URLs, several teams publishing without a shared standard, and migrations where a single mistake is repeated across the whole site.

01 The premise

Scale changes what the job is.

Below a few hundred pages, SEO is a series of individual decisions. Above a few thousand, that model collapses. Nobody can review five thousand title tags, and nobody needs to — those titles come from a template, and there are probably six templates in total. Fix six things and you have fixed five thousand.

The second change is that the site has many authors. Marketing publishes, product publishes, HR publishes, and a regional team publishes in a different CMS entirely. Every one of them can create a page with a missing title, a duplicate URL or an H1 that is an image. At this scale, quality has to be enforced by the publishing system rather than requested in a document nobody reads.

The third is that mistakes replicate. A wrong canonical rule on a five-page site is a five-page problem. The same rule in a template is a five-thousand-page problem that appears overnight, and it is usually discovered by a traffic drop several weeks later rather than by anyone noticing the change.

02 Focus areas

What actually gets worked on.

Almost none of this is writing content. At this size the leverage is elsewhere.

Templates

Six templates generate everything. Titles, headings, canonicals, schema and internal linking are all template decisions, and each fix multiplies.

Crawl budget

Parameters, filters, sessions and pagination generating URLs by the hundred thousand. On a large site, what Google does not reach is as important as what it finds.

Governance

Rules enforced at publish time rather than audited afterwards. Missing meta or a broken heading order should block publication.

Internal linking

On a large site this is a structural asset. Which pages receive links from where decides what ranks, and it is usually accidental.

Enablement

Training the people who publish, because they will create far more pages than any consultant ever will.

Migrations

The single highest-risk event a large site experiences. Planned, mapped and validated rather than hoped through.

03 Migrations

Migrations: the expensive one.

Most catastrophic enterprise traffic losses trace back to a migration. All of these are avoidable.

Migration checklist

  • Crawl the old site first. Every URL recorded before anything changes. You cannot redirect what you never listed.
  • Map one to one. Every old URL to its specific new address. Bulk redirection to the homepage is treated as a soft 404 and discards the value.
  • Baseline everything. Rankings, traffic and index coverage recorded beforehand, or you cannot tell whether the migration helped or hurt.
  • Keep the content that earns. Pages that already rank are preserved, not rewritten because a new tone of voice was approved.
  • Test redirects before launch. On staging, in bulk, automatically. Not spot-checked by hand on the day.
  • Watch daily afterwards. Coverage and errors monitored for weeks. Problems found in week one cost a fraction of problems found in month three.

How many URLs does Google actually have?

On most large sites the indexed count and the intended count are very different numbers. That gap is usually the biggest single opportunity, and it takes one crawl to measure.

04 Honest scope

What I can and cannot offer here.

Stated plainly, because enterprise buyers are usually comparing me against an agency.

One person, senior time
You get an experienced person doing the actual work, not a junior executing a partner’s slides. That is the genuine advantage.
Not a large team
If you need twelve people writing content simultaneously, an agency is the right choice and I will say so.
Strategy and templates
Where I add most value: diagnosis, template fixes, governance, migration planning and training your team.
Works with your developers
I can specify precisely, or implement directly if you would rather. Both work.
Honest about scale
I will tell you at the first meeting whether your project is a fit. Taking on something I cannot resource helps nobody.
