Paid media is the only channel that can bring you an enquiry this afternoon. It is also the only one that can quietly burn a month of budget on searches that were never going to buy.
Short answer
PPC and paid lead generation means buying visibility on Google and Meta and converting it into enquiries. The work that decides whether it pays is unglamorous: conversion tracking that actually fires, negative keywords, landing pages matched to the ad, and someone checking the search-terms report often enough to catch waste in days rather than months.
Four details. A real reply the same day, from me.
01 The short version
Almost every underperforming ad account I have opened has the same three problems, in the same order. Conversions are not tracked properly, so every optimisation decision after that is guesswork dressed as data. The search-terms report is full of queries nobody would ever buy from. And the ad promises one thing while the landing page it points at talks about something else.
None of those are exotic. They are all fixable in the first fortnight, and fixing them usually matters more than any bid strategy. That is why an audit comes before a proposal — there is no point recommending a budget increase for an account that cannot yet tell you which clicks became customers.
The other honest point: ads are rented attention. The day you stop paying, the enquiries stop the same afternoon. That is not an argument against them — for a business that needs leads this quarter it is exactly the right tool — but it is an argument for building organic search alongside, so you are not renting forever.

Conversions defined, tags verified, offline imports where the sale happens on the phone. Until this is right, every other number lies.
Search terms, negatives, structure, quality scores, budget distribution and what the landing pages actually say. Waste is usually visible within an hour.
Campaigns grouped by intent and margin rather than by product catalogue. Ad copy that matches the search, and a landing page that matches the ad.
Negatives added, bids reviewed, creative rotated, and losing segments cut. Ad accounts drift; unattended ones drift expensively.
Cost per enquiry, cost per qualified enquiry, and which campaigns to stop. Including the months it did not work.
— Questions
The ones I get asked before every project, answered the way I would answer them on a call.
Work backwards, not forwards. Take the value of one customer, the share of enquiries you close, and the cost per click in your category — that gives you the monthly figure at which the maths can work. In most Delhi NCR service categories that is a meaningful number, and if your budget is far below it I will tell you to spend it on something else.
If people already search for what you sell, start with Google: you are catching demand that exists. If nobody searches for it because they do not know it exists, start with Meta: you are creating the demand. Most businesses eventually run both, with remarketing joining them up.
You do. It is created in your name, with your billing, and I am given access to it. If we stop working together you keep the account, the history, the conversion data and the audiences. An agency that will not agree to this is protecting itself, not you.
A flat monthly management fee, agreed before we start, separate from the ad spend that goes to Google or Meta. Not a percentage of spend — that quietly rewards me for spending more of your money, which is the wrong incentive.
Search campaigns can produce enquiries within days of going live, which is exactly why ads are attractive. What takes longer is making those enquiries cheap and qualified — usually four to eight weeks of tightening before the cost per lead settles.
Usually, and it is often the better option because the account already has conversion history worth keeping. I will audit it first and tell you honestly whether it should be repaired or rebuilt from scratch.
