You grant view permission, I go through the account, and you get a written list of what is wasting money and what cannot currently be measured. You keep it whatever you decide afterwards.
Short answer
A free PPC audit reviews your Google Ads or Meta Ads account on read-only access and reports what is wasting spend, whether conversion tracking is accurate, how the account is structured, and whether landing pages match the ads. The written findings are yours regardless of whether you engage further.
Four details. A real reply the same day, from me.
01 The checklist
Roughly in order of how much money each item tends to be worth.
02 Process
Deliberately low-commitment on your side.

Google Ads and Meta, view level. I cannot change anything, and you can revoke it whenever you like.
Usually a day. Search terms, tracking, structure, landing pages and recent history.
Specific, prioritised, with the money attached where it can be quantified. Not a score out of a hundred.
A call to explain what matters most and in what order. Then you decide, with no chasing either way.
03 Why free
A fair question, and the answer is straightforwardly commercial rather than charitable. A specific, accurate audit is more persuasive than any proposal I could write. Some people who receive one hire me. Many do not, and they keep the findings.
It also filters in both directions. Occasionally an account is well run and there is nothing useful to add, in which case we both find that out in a day rather than after a proposal and two meetings. If the honest finding is that your budget is too small for your category, I will say that too, and it costs me the engagement.
There is no catch worth watching for. Read-only access means nothing can be changed. I do not need your billing details. You keep the written findings. And there is no follow-up sequence — if you do not reply, that is the end of it.

Straight answers, including the ones that cost me work. If yours is not here, ask it — I reply the same day.
Read-only access to Google Ads and Meta Ads, at view level. I cannot change anything, and you can revoke it at any time. There is no reason to hand over administrative control for a review.
Usually a day for a typical small business account, longer for larger ones with many campaigns. You receive the findings in writing plus a call to talk through what matters most.
Yes. You keep the written findings whether you hire me, hand them to your current agency, or do nothing. There is no follow-up sequence — if you do not reply, that is the end of it.
Usually, though not always. Some accounts are well run and the honest finding is that the budget or the category is the constraint rather than the management. I would rather tell you that in a day than take on an engagement that cannot succeed.
Yes, and it is common. I report on what I find without commentary on the people involved — accounts drift for structural reasons more often than through incompetence. What you do with the findings is your business.
That will be the first finding, and it is the most valuable one. An account that cannot measure conversions cannot be optimised, only guessed at — so every decision made before that is fixed is unreliable.
