Asif Ali Web & Digital Growth

Fixed price · One conversation · No obligation

A fixed number, after one conversation.

Not a range, not an hourly rate, and not a figure that changes once the work starts. One conversation about what the site actually has to do, then a price you can plan against.

Short answer

A website quote from Asif Ali is a fixed price agreed after one conversation about what the site needs to do. It covers design, development, structure and launch, with the scope written down so both sides know what is included before anything begins.

01 What to tell me

What I need to quote accurately.

Answer what you can. Unknowns are normal and we work them out on the call.

What to tell me

  • What the business does. And who buys from it. This affects the structure more than anything else.
  • Roughly how many pages. Or better, how many distinct page types. Twenty products sharing one layout is not twenty designs.
  • Whether you need to edit it. Daily editing by a non-technical team changes the answer considerably.
  • Whether it sells online. E-commerce changes the scope substantially, and the operational questions matter more than the design.
  • What content exists. Text, photographs, logo. The single biggest cause of delayed launches is content arriving late.
  • Any deadline that matters. A launch tied to a season or an event should be said at the start, not discovered later.
  • Your current site, if there is one. Send the URL. A redesign that keeps your rankings is a different job from a new build.

02 Process

How the quote is produced.

You send the form

With whatever you know. Unknowns are fine and normal at this stage.

We have one conversation

Twenty to thirty minutes, by phone or WhatsApp. This is where the scope is genuinely decided.

I send a fixed price

With what is included, what is not, and an honest timeline. In plain language rather than a proposal deck.

03 Fixed price

Why fixed price rather than hourly.

Hourly billing makes it my problem to work fast and your problem to guess the total. That is the wrong way round. A fixed price means the number you agree is the number you pay, and any inefficiency on my side is mine to absorb rather than yours to fund.

It also forces a real conversation about scope before anything starts, which is where most website projects go wrong. A written scope means both of us know what is included, and a genuine change of direction is priced at the time rather than quietly absorbed and taken out of quality somewhere else.

What a fixed price is not is an unchangeable one regardless of what you ask for. If the brief genuinely changes, that is a new number, agreed before the work is done. What it does prevent is a surprise at the end.
